Yesterday, marked the official launch of the "Code for Ukraine" program, a transformative 12-month initiative designed to provide students from war-affected and disadvantaged backgrounds with free and comprehensive training in computer science, human-centered design, and project management fundamentals.

Code.X’s Brand Refresh
Since the new year, you may have noticed some new colors and styles popping up on our website and social media. We’re excited to announce the launch of Code.X’s first brand refresh since our inception in 2019, with the help of the wonderful Ina Siddiqui from the Parsons School of Design in New York City. Code.X’s logo, color palette, typeface, and more have all been given a style evolution, and we’re going to dive in together on the updates.
Code.X, Help Us Help Announce New Youth Program “Code for Ukraine”
As its final pilot program of 2024, Code.X will launch “Code for Ukraine,” the 12-month adaptation of Code.X’s 24-month youth entrepreneurship program for high school students. Code for Ukraine will take place in Western Ukraine and will be co-hosted with Help Us Help, a Canadian charitable organization that supports humanitarian projects in Canada and Ukraine.
Code.X Opens Calls for Youth Program “Code for Egypt”
Code.X is excited to announce “Code for Egypt”, a youth entrepreneurship program for high school students in Egypt, with local host Salahaldin International School in Cairo (SIS-Cairo) and co-sponsor Lotus Education. Code for Egypt will be a geographical expansion of Code.X’s proven three-year youth education program, which blends computer science and human-centered design education to provide students with invaluable entrepreneurship and innovation skills.
Code.X's 2023 Highlights
Code.X started in 2019, expanding its Code for Palestine model to other fragile and conflict-affected regions and providing crucial technology education for young people around the world. In February 2024, we will have turned 5 years old and are extremely grateful to our community who have made it possible for us to operate through the pandemic and beyond.

As 2023 comes to a close, it’s time to reflect on the year that has passed and what it meant for our Code.X community in Palestine. YouthCode-Gaza will provide students with a unique approach to computer science, human-centered design, and project management fundamentals, taught by Code.X volunteers from top U.S. universities and tech companies.
