Code.X and its cofounders, Alex Fu and Taylor Sihavong, have been featured in the 2025 Forbes North America 30 Under 30 list in Education! Each year, Forbes North America picks 600 young entrepreneurs and innovators representing 20 different industries, with 30 features per industry list. This list is highly selective and chosen from over 10,000 nominations.
This year, Forbes’ Education list honors those who are bringing access and opportunity to the classroom and beyond. We are thrilled to be spotlighted and would like to extend a congratulations to all of those in the Code.X network, including our volunteer instructors, Teaching Assistants, and students.
Taylor Sihavong and fellow Stanford alum Alex Fu (left) created nonprofit Code.X in 2019 to take Silicon Valley STEM training abroad. U.S.-based university students or recent alumni have taught 4,500 students aged 14 to 25 via in-person or online courses covering AI, entrepreneurship, computer science and more. Code.X has reached students in more than 10 countries. Total grants, donations, contracts and in-kind gifts exceed $500,000 from Cisco Foundation and Coursera, among others.
