4-Day Workshops in the West Bank

In 2023, Code.X provided Python and Design Thinking workshops for Tech-Talent, an annual entrepreneurial program facilitated by local Palestinian partner AlNayzak Organization. Code.X instructors taught rotating 4-day workshops with over 200 total students across Nablus, Ramallah, and Jerusalem, with an emphasis on individual student development and small group activities. Unlike Code.X’s flagship camp programs, our Tech-Talent workshop format prioritized broad student exposure to tech, design, and English presentation.

About Tech-Talent

The Tech-Talent entrepreneurial program embraces creative, scientific and young talents in the fields of scientific research, innovation, inventions, and coding. It targets ninth and tenth graders from all Palestinian schools, offering them the chance to present and develop entrepreneurial creative ideas, projects, or applications. Students compete for project approval and a chance to win a unique trip to the US, where students visit important scientific facilities such as NASA.

The program also promotes the culture of research, scientific innovation, and technology in Palestine by directing the creative potentials of youth towards generating ideas and implementing original projects. The aim is to connect their efforts with advanced, global initiatives in this field.

Tech-Talent prepares Palestinian students for a national competition and a trip to visit NASA in Silicon Valley.
