We are thrilled to announce a new collaboration between Code.X and the Cisco Foundation, aimed at expanding technology and entrepreneurship programs for youth in Palestine.
After hosting our flagship educational summer camp program in Palestine since 2015, Code.X is collaborating with the Cisco Foundation to expand our available program topics, classroom modalities, and target benefactors. The Cisco Foundation collaborates with nonprofits, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and community-based organizations around the world to develop technology-based solutions that can empower underserved communities.
The Cisco Foundation and Code.X are building upon a shared goal of fostering technological literacy and empowerment, seeking to create a lasting impact on Palestinian youth by introducing them to the world of technology, with a specific focus on coding.
At Code.X, our mission is to bridge the gap between underserved communities and Silicon Valley, bringing technology, design, and personal development opportunities to youth around the world. The Cisco Foundation’s support will help Code.X to accelerate work and realize this mission in Palestine, positively impacting programs like our 2023-2024 pilot program, YouthCode-Gaza, which is being delivered jointly with local partner organization Amideast Gaza.
With the Cisco Foundation’s generous support, we are excited to elevate our programs to new heights and broaden our reach. Through hands-on engagement, expert mentorship, and exposure to cutting-edge technologies, we aim to foster a new generation of leaders who can contribute to their communities and make a mark on the global stage.
